Internet Marketing Success Secrets - Why do some people have quick success at internet marketing...and why do so many fail?

This is a question I get asked frequently and feel it deserves attention. There are many reasons but one that really sticks out is the simple fact that people are trying to sale rather then connect with a hungry market. This is especially common with beginners. Majority of people get caught up in the how and fail to take a step back and look at the more important question of “Why”. Why does your market need your product of service?

When I first started out trying to make money online I joined many different websites, newsletters and purchased every e-book I could get my hands on looking for the secret behind Internet Marketing. I spent countless hours studying and reading searching for the answers to my questions. It took about 8 months for me to realize I was going about it totally wrong. I was using all my energy trying to sale my product to everyone rather then to a niche market that was hungry and ready to purchase.

I see it too often...people pick an affiliate product or service and then start bumping out countless ads, articles, landing pages and God for bid, pay per click campaigns without really knowing who their target market is. Wouldn’t be much easier to do a little research first to find out who your market is and what they need and want? If you can answer “Who” and “What” then you are on your way to making a lot of money.

So the secret behind Internet Marketing is to understand that this is a People Business! The faster you understand that, the easier it will be to make sales. Many people believe they need the latest keyword tool or better website to make or increase their sales. This is simply not the case. Finding a hungry market and being able to connect with them is the key to success. If you can do some research and find a hungry market and then give them what they want…you will have tapped into a cash generating machine. Isn’t that what we all want?
